| France edges out USA in Mens 4x100M Freestyle |
The event that captivated the US in the last Olympics, when Hensen swam the final leg, edging out the French, fell to a Silver this year. Nathan Adrian was first in the water for the US, swimming a brilliant leg. Then Michael Phelps hit the water second, with another fabulous 100m swim. Cullen Jones ht the water for the third leg with a strong 50 m swim but was caught by the French team, leaving Ryan Lochte to battle it out with Yannick Agnel for the final swim.
A strong event, with the Russian team taking the Bronze and leaving the favorites from Australia without a spot at the podium.
Congrats to Nathan, Michael, Cullen and Ryan on their Silver Medal.
