| US Men’s Basketball thump Team France in Opening Round |
Lebron, Kobe and the rest of the USA Men’s Basketball team started off Olympic play with a strong win against Team France this morning. Kevin Durant scored 22 points and Minnesota’s Kevin Love had 14, as the guys routed Tony Parker and the French team 98-71, Sunday at the Olympic Park arena. LeBron James lended his hand with 8 assists and found himself all over the floor, essentially playing all 5 positions during the game.
Playing in front of a sold-out crowd and the First Lady of the United States, Michelle Obama, the players all greeted Mrs. Obama as they exited the court.
Up next for the US Men’s team, Tunisia, on Tuesday.
