Deepika Padukone Forks Over Million Rs To Producer After A Lost Bet

Deepika Padukone kept her word and paid Cocktail producer Dinesh Vijan Rs 10 lakh for losing a bet over song Daaru Desi becoming a rage.
It was all just friendly banter when Deeps told Dinesh that she doesn't believe the song will become a success, and if it does, she would give him Rs 10 lakhs.
The song ended up topping the charts, and Dinesh started asking for his money. Deepika didn't think he was serious to begin with about a casual bet, but Dinesh reportedly did not relent.
A TOI source confirmed to the publication that the actress paid four days ago.
"10 lakhs is no big amount for Deepika. She gained a lot more from Cocktail so it was indeed a small price to pay," added the source.
We guess Deeps isn't going to wager again anytime soon!
