Salman Khan If I Can Do Action, I Can Do Romance

Salman Khan prefers doing romance over action in films and doesn't believe he is too old to be a romantic hero.
"No, I don't think that I am too old to do romance on screen. The time you can do action you can do romance as well. If you can't do action, there is no romance," Salman told in an interview on CNN-IBN.
Salman was appearing on the TV channel along with co-star Katrina Kaif to promote their film Ek Tha Tiger, directed by Kabir Khan.
During the interview, Katrina Kaif observed that Salman had mellowed considerable with age.
"I think he has become much calmer now. Earlier his energy level is to run around, he used to be insane. Though he has calmed down from that, still it is above normal," said Katrina.
He may have a calmer disposition now, as Katrina says, but Salman is now on overdrive promoting Ek Tha Tiger. Alluding to his hectic schedule, Salman told CNN-IBN that when doing an interview for Ek Tha Tiger he often ends up talking about unrelated subjects and forgets what he said and where.
In another interview Salman was asked when is he going to do a romantic film, he said:
"I am doing a lot of romantic stuff -- but not on screen (laughs). I am going to do Sooraj Bharjatya's film soon."
Asked whether he prefers romance or action, he joked.
"Romance. There is too much pain in an action film. You have to wake up at wrong hours and do all that action.
"You have to fight in dirty places, sometimes in water, sometimes in the sun. Do people really fight on roofs? Why can't they give us a good mattress to fall on? But no, they will always make you fall on a hard surface."
