| Salman Khan Fans Face Price Hike To Watch Ek Tha Tiger |
Movie tickets for Kabir Khan's spy thriller Ek Tha Tiger, headlining Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, are reportedly going to be costlier.
Expect to pay 12-16 percent more for the Eid release as the multiplexes are cashing in on the festival timing, and that too, a Salman starrer.
"Nationally, the price will rise by about Rs 20 per ticket. After all it is a premium product. This kind of thing is done during festive seasons. And today Salman films demand higher premium than before," Anand Vishal, Head of Operations, Fun Cinemas told Mumbai Mirror.
There is some respite for those living in a neighbourhood with multi multiplexes as more competition means a lower price rise, and vice-versa. Also, single screen cinemas will not hike the ticket price.
The booking for the film has already started, which is way ahead of routine.
Ek Tha Tiger will bow on August 15.
Hopefully the movie's a box office smash, making Salman's day and his fans. :)
