Aishwarya Rai Missed Accompanying Abhishek to Olympics Due to Ad Shoot

Aishwarya Rai could not accompany Abhishek Bachchan to the London Olympics 2012 Saturday, August 4 because she was busy shooting a Jewelry commercial.
The 38-year-old new mom shot the spectacular 40sec Kalyan Jewelers commercial titled 'Bathe In Gold' over two days on a gold hue set. Her dress and makeup echoed the gold theme - a flowing golden gown custom made to her own design.
The commercial shows Aishwarya diving from a height of 60 ft into a golden hue swimming pool. The stunt was directed by Allan Amin who earlier directed her action sequences in Dhoom 2.
Abhishek is attending the Games as the Indian brand ambassador for Omega watches, the official timekeepers of the Olympics.
Aishwarya too has been associated with the Olympics in the past - She was brand ambassador of Longines and Pepsi, the two sponsors of Athens Olympics in 2004, and participated in the Olympic torch relay in Delhi, along with colleagues Aamir Khan and Bipasha Basu, and cricketers Kapil Dev and Rahul Dravid.
Amitabh Bachchan did the honors this year being one of the torchbearer of the London 2012 Olympic torch on July 26, the 69th day of the relay.
Aishwarya's Kalyan Jeweler commercial debuts on August 12 and has her fans waiting with bated breath.
