'Kochadaiyaan' headlining Rajinikant and Deepika Padukone is being dubbed in Japanese and will premiere in Tokyo in December with both the stars in attendance.
The film directed by Rajinikanth's daughter Soundarya R Ashwin will be released in Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, Japanese and English.
The release date has not yet been firmed up, but the month is confirmed. The film will premiere in four cities around the world - Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai and Tokyo. Rajini and Deepika will attend all the premiers.
Rajini is reported to have a huge fan following in Japan and has started brushing up his Japanese to be able to converse with his fans.
"All the dynamics of a Japanese premiere for Kochadaiyaan are now being worked out. Deepika and Rajini Sir are expected to be in Tokyo in December for the premiere," a source told Bollywood Hungama.
Producer Dr Murli Manohar said, "We're certainly looking at a gigantic release. The film will be released in separate languages in different parts. We're planning to give Rajiniji's fans a treat."
We are betting Deepika will make some fans of her own while in Tokyo.
