Perry — whose divorce from Russell Brand was finalized last month — was spotted out enjoying a romantic meal with the “Clarity” hitmaker at the Chateau Marmont in Hollywood on Wednesday night.
Us magazine described the pair as “affectionate, holding hands and cuddling.” And spywitnesses say the pair looked mighty chummy:
“They were holding hands across the table, sneaking kisses, and laughing.”They were photographed leaving the exclusive venue in John’s car.
Rumors of a budding relationship first sprung up in July, when John and Katy were spotted grabbing pizza together and getting cozy at SoHo House. However, insiders say the pair aren’t serious about each and are just having fun.
“They’re just hooking up right now. It’s not serious — yet!”Katy had previously been seeing Florence and the Machine guitarist Robert Ackroyd. John — a notorious ladies man — has been romantically-linked to Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Love-Hewitt, Cameron Diaz, Taylor Swift and Jessica Simpson.
