| Miley Cyrus Is a 'Strong, Intelligent, Supportive Person,' Says Boyfriend |
Australian actor Liam Hemsworth tells Men's Health magazine that his girlfriend, 19-year-old singer and actress Miley Cyrus, makes him feel at home in Hollywood.
"She's an extremely strong, intelligent, supportive person," says 22-year-old Hemsworth. [via Mail Online]
Hemworth also tells the magazine that before he became an actor he was totally into surfing.
He surfed competitively as a teenager in Australia and wanted to do so for the rest of his life.
"I even had it as a subject in school for a number of years.
"They teach you all parts of the surfing industry: How to judge surf heats, that sort of thing."
The Hunger Games star is currently shooting for the film Paranoia in Philadelphia and Miley is with him on an extended visit. There was a report he is unhappy with Miley's presence on set as it's distracting
A source told Radar Online, "Miley is driving Liam crazy at the moment. While he's on set in Philadelphia shooting his new film Paranoia, she gallivants around town shopping, getting pampered in nail salons and just can't sit still."
When he returns home after a tiring day on the set, he wants to grab a takeout meal and go over his lines for the next day, but Miley has so many things to talk about.
Miley and Liam Hemsworth have been dating since August 2009, having met on the set of The Last Song. They were engaged on May 31; Liam popped the question with 3.5-carat diamond ring from Neil Lane and Miley said Yes.
Miley told People magazine, "I'm so happy to be engaged and look forward to a life of happiness with Liam."
