Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan are all over the TV and print media as the pair is neck deep into plugging their newest, Ek Tha Tiger. Media and their fans can never have enough of asking them about their offscreen chemistry, and Katrina responds in her usual calm manner.
Katrina says the buzz about their onscreen chemistry for the first time is more because this is the first film in which they are not platonically paired, and the focus is only on two of them.
"As for chemistry, well, I think it's really the first time that we both are romantically paired in a film that's only about us, so it's bound to affect the equation between the characters we play," Katrina told DNA.
As for offscreen chemistry with Salman:
"Not just Salman, even his family will always be special and very close to me. Today, we are both in a very comfortable space with each other."
Katrina has known Salman from the beginning of her Bollywood career. Responding to a question how Salman has changed over the years, she says:
"I think he is more focused today and at peace."
"He's found his groove and he is doing the kind of films that make him happy. And Ek Tha Tiger is one of them," says Katrina.
The two are on such friendly terms that at a recent presser for Ek Tha Tiger, when Salman was questioned about the topic of marriage, it was Katrina who answered that only Salman Khan should decide when he should settle down.
How does she handle working with Frenemies, Salman and Shah Rukh Khan? Does she get caught in the middle?
"No, not at all. I think both Salman and Shah Rukh are too busy with their own lives to bother about each other. They have moved on and so should we."
