The “Single Ladies” songstress has agreed to direct, produce and appear in the film which will include concert footage, backstage scenes and interviews with the hitmaker and those closest to her, The Los Angeles Times said Thursday.
The still-untitled documentary will focus on the release of her 2011 disc 4, as well as her marriage to Jay-Z and the birth of the couple’s daughter Blue Ivy in January. Bey is reportedly busy presenting different Hollywood studios with 20 minutes of footage in a bid to find the right distributor.
The R&B star, 30, has had experience of directing in the past: Beyonce stepped behind the camera for her MTV mini-documentary Beyonce: Year of 4, which featured her in the studio working on new tracks.
