Aishwarya Rai Makes Spectacular Comeback with Jewelry Commercial

Aishwarya Rai looked stunning during the shoot of a commercial for Kalyan Jewelers at Filmistan Studios, Mumbai on August 3, marking her return to showbiz after the birth of her daughter Aradhya in November.
The 38-year-old new mom shot a 40sec long film titled 'Bathe In Gold' over two days. (She had last shot a commercial for Lux when she was six months pregnant.)
The TV and print campaign was filmed on a gold hue set created by Sabu Cyril (RA.One). Aishwarya's dress and makeup echoed the gold theme - a flowing golden gown custom made to her own design. Her makeup and hair was done by Mickey Contractor.
The campaign is directed and penned by Shrikumar Menon of Push Creatives, Kerala, and lensed by Kiran Deohans (Jodhaa Akbar, Longines ad).
The commercial shows Aishwarya diving from a height of 60 ft into a golden hue swimming pool. The stunt was directed by Allan Amin who earlier directed her action sequences in Dhoom 2. (The pool, made from Acrylic, was 25 ft long, 20 ft wide and 12 ft deep, and Aishwarya was lowered using a harness to film the jump.)
The commercial will debut on August 12.
Director Shrikumar gave Sawfnews.com an exclusive scoop on the shoot.
"Aishwarya is in fabulous shape and she performed her stunts with perfection. She got a standing ovation from the entire production team after her stunt scene. I am quite sure the film will be a visual treat for her fans who will not forget this film for a long time."
