Somy Ali Gives Clean Chit To Salman Khan

Salman Khan's former girlfriend Somy Ali categorically denies having suffered physical abuse at his hands, or seeing him abuse others.
The US based former actress turned activist for domestic violence victims was questioned about rumors that Salman is physically abusive to his girlfriends and she suffered such abuse while with him.
"No, Salman was never abusive towards me, nor have I witnessed him being abusive to anyone else," Somy Ali told HT Media.
She said she is clueless about the reports doing the rounds that Salman recently hit Katrina Kaif on set of Ek Tha Tiger because she was dressed skimpy.
"Honestly, I am completely clueless when it comes to the gossip in Bollywood."
She took the opportunity to clarify that Salman never smashed a cola bottle on her head when they were dating each other in the 90s.
"No, if he had done that, I would have been hospitalized and bleeding profusely."
Salman was mad because she was trying out alcohol and he poured her drink on the table before she could consume it.
"He was not happy because I was trying alcohol for the first time, thus in his frustration, he poured the drink all over the table. Of course, yellow journalism at its best blew this completely out of proportion and fabricated various versions, rather than what actually took place."
Salman and Somy had recently met in Bangkok and there was a buzz the two are getting back together but she rubbishes the rumors.
"Absolute silliness. Our lives are so different, it is almost as if we speak different languages. I have grown so much and seen so much in the past 12 years that these rumors are so trivial and unworthy now," says Somy.
