| Priyanka Chopra To Debut Live Singing In India Soon |
The aspiring songstress, in the middle of taping her debut album, Priyanka Chopra has surprised her fans by agreeing for a live performance in a concert to plug Anurag Basu's Barfi. Giving her company would be co-star Ranbir Kapoor.
It was earlier reported that Priyanka, 30, did not join her Teri Meri Kahaani co-star Shahid Kapoor to croon a song from their film during promotions of their film because she has a contract with the recording company of her album that her voice should not be heard on a public platform until release of the album, which is reportedly in October.
"Anurag had a chat with PeeCee and asked her if she was comfortable singing in front of a live audience, the songs of his film. The actress gave it a thought and a few days later, told him she is ready to do it. A similar request was sent to Ranbir and being the sport he is, he too gave his nod to the idea," a source told Mumbai Mirror.
The film's scorer Pritam has been requested to be on board for the concerts.
"Anurag told Pritam it would be great if he could keep aside a day from his busy schedule to accompany the actors and give the music for their live performance. The show is scheduled for end August and will be held in various cities. Pritam took a long look at his calendar and immediately agreed," added the source.
With acting, dancing, and now singing, Priyanka is one of the industry's few triple threats!
