Kristen Stewart and Rupert Sanders have explained their steamy make-out sessions on July 17 in L.A as fleeting indiscretion on their parts, but there is evidence that they may have shared vibes since months.

Also, a source tells People that Sanders, 41, appeared infatuated with Stewart, 22, during the filming of 'Snow White and the Huntsman,' but their conduct on set was above board. Possibly, because Sanders wife Liberty Ross, 33, features in the film as Snow White's mother. The couple's children - Skyla, 7, and Tennyson, 5 - also feature in the film's final scene.
An E! Online source confirms nothing happened between the two on set; they hooked up well after the film and its international promotional tour wrapped.
"I can guarantee you 100 percent that nothing happened when they were working - nothing!" the source said.
More important than the timing of the initial spark between the two, is perhaps the fact that they never had a full-blown affair.
A People source insists, "She wasn't having an affair with Rupert. It was just a fleeting moment that shouldn't have happened."
"She never meant to hurt anyone. She's a good person who just made a bad choice."
Speaking to People, Sanders's father, Michael, put the hook-up in perspective.
"From what I gather nothing really happened and it is all a lot of fuss about nothing. I should imagine it was something very brief," he said. "She is a very pretty girl and when you work that closely with someone for so long, sometimes things happen."
