| Aamir Khan Releases Press Statement on 'Talaash' Status |
As promised by producer Ritesh Sidhwani, Aamir Khan has released a press statement denying reports that he is unhappy with the final edit of Talaash and wants to delay its release to 2013.
"I would like to clarify that 'Talaash' is releasing as planned on Nov 30th. Over the last few weeks I have noticed that there have been some attempts to spread rumours about the film. Clearly someone is not very happy with the way it is progressing, and I can assure that that someone is not anyone from our team," Aamir says in the statement.
Sidhwani had Tweeted on July 13:
"All those inquiring about #Talaash article today, an official statement from Aamir @FarOutAkhtar and me is being sent out to the media today."
Written and directed by Reema Kagti, the cop thriller Talaash additionally features Kareena Kapoor and Rani Mukerji.
There were reports that Aamir is not happy with the climax of the film and wants changes, but that Kagti disagrees.
Aamir isn't ready to participate in the film's promotions if it's released without changes.
Aamir has rubbished the reports saying that, "Reema, Farhan, Ritesh, and I are very happy with the way Talaash has turned out."
While Aamir fans will be excited to see Aamir on big screen after Dhobi Ghaat (2010), Kareena fans can rejoice as they will get to see the actress' red carpet style as a new bride during the film's promotions.
