Sajid Khan Bows Out Of Judwaa 2

Sajid Khan has quit Sajid Nadiadwala's much anticipated remake of Judwaa which featured Salman Khan in a double role. The project is shelved for now.
Nadiadwala will look for a new director and story idea for the project but he has too much on his plate right now, says the producer.
The script that the two of them were co-writing has been scrapped. Nadiadwala will re-work on a fresh idea when he is free from existing commitments.
The parting is reportedly amicable, and the two will come together again for Housefull 3.
"Yes I am not doing Judwaa 2. Sajid and I are like brothers and we decided I would not be directing this film. No film for us is more important than our friendship and I will be making Housefull 3 with him in near future," Sajid Khan told Mid-Day.
The film was scheduled to start mid-2013 with Saif Ali Khan as the lead.
Nadiadwala says he wants his script to be at least at par with the original, and right now due to his busy schedule he is unable to devote enough time to writing it.
"I do not wish to let the quality of my film suffer due to quantity," said Nadiadwala.
