| Kareena Kapoor Picked as Grand Finale Showstopper for Lakme Fashion Week 2012 |
It has now been confirmed that Kareena Kapoor will walk the ramp on August 7 at the grand finale of Lakme Fashion Week Winter-Festive 2012.
According to Purnima Lamba, Head Innovations Lakme, designers Kallol Datta and Pankaj & Nidhi Ahuja have been picked as Grand Finale designers for being fashion visionaries, and Kareena will strut their creations on the ramp.
Kareena has reportedly seen their designs and is very excited to be a part of their show.
Lamba wants to keep the surprise factor for the day:
"Yes, Kareena will be walking for the Lakme Grand Finale, but I won't divulge too many details now. I can personally promise that it's going to be a fabulous show," Lamba told IANS.
Kareena was the LFW grand finale showstopper for pal Manish Malhotra two years ago.
