| Salman Khan to Kick-off 'Kick' in November |
Shirish Kunder's much awaited romcom Kick headlining Salman Khan will start filming in November.
The director confirmed the news to sawfnews.com saying, "Yup, it starts in November."
The exact schedule of filming hasn't been finalized, says Shirish; it will depends on Salman's availability.
The female lead is yet to be finalized and Shirish says it could be a while before that announcement.
Sonakshi Sinha had earlier said she would be playing lead, and producer Sajid Nadiadwala had confirmed as much.
Kick is a remake of a Surender Reddy's 2009 Telugu film by the same name, which featured Ravi Teja and Ileana D'Cruz in lead roles. In 2010 Kick was remade in Tamil and was titled Thillalangadi.
There is no word on whether Salman is still doing brother Sohail Khan's Sher Khan, which was to start production after Salman wrapped currently filming Dabangg 2.
At the time of filing this story we were still waiting to hear back from Salman's rep.
