Ranbir Kapoor to Play 'Tapori' |
Ranbir Kapoor is excited to play a 'tapori' in Abhinav Kashyap's 'Besharam' because he hasn't done such a role earlier and Abhinav is a great director.
"'Besharam' is a fun film. It's an action comedy and a character that I haven't played before. He has a bit of a shade of a tapori (vagabond), so I am looking forward to it," Ranbir told IANS.
"Abhinav is a great director," he added.
Ranbir, who plays a car thief in the film, has been paired with Indo-Australian Sharda Pallavi in the film.
Ranbir, 29, is working with both the Kashyap brothers - Abhinav and Anurag - one after the other. He will begin filming for Anurag's period drama Bombay Velvet in February, soon after wrapping Besharam .
He is paired with Anushka Sharma in Bombay Velvet.
Ranbir feels privileged to be working with both brothers and says the two make contrasting personalities.
"I have not started the work (on the films) yet, but I am truly excited because both Anurag and Abhinav are very opposite to each other. But really they are interesting scripts and interesting characters to play. I am really looking forward to both the films."
Ranbir is currently filming for Ayan Mukerji's Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani with Deepika Padukone as the female lead.
