Prabhu Deva's Next Shruti Haasan Signed As Female Lead Opposite Newcomer

Prabhu Deva has paired Shruti Haasan with Kumar Taurani's son and Girish Kumar for his next flick, a musical love story.
The film will mark Girish's debut in films and Shruti's Bollywood career reboot.
Prabhu Deva confirmed the news.
"We were thinking of a completely new girl. But Shruti seems a better option. She has everything it takes," Prabhudeva told Mumbai Mirror.
Talking about the film he says,
"It is as massy as Rowdy Rathore. That is the only language I know. It will be targeted at single-theatre audiences. But also for the multiplexes."
Filming will begin in August.
Shruti, 26, debuted in Luck (2009) opposite Imran Khan and returned in 2011 with Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji starring Ajay Devgn, Emraan Hashmi, Omi Vaidya, Shazahn Padamsee. Both the films tanked on box-office.
Prabhu has three Bollywood films on hand and one of them is Namak headlining Shahid Kapoor.
