Anurag Kashyap Adds Punch To Aamir Khan's 'Talaash' |
Reema Kagti's much anticipated cop thriller headlining Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Rani Mukerji has dialogs written by Anurag Kashyap.
Anurag filled in for Frahan, who has written most of the film's dialogs, after Farhan got busy with Don 2 (2011), belying past reports of a fallout between Aamir and Anurag over the actor's reluctance to commit to the director's upcoming film Bombay Velvet.
Anurag wanted Aamir to headline Bombay Velvet and waited for a long time for the busy star to commit dates but that didn't happen. Finally, Anurag decided to go ahead with the project with Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma playing the headlining roles.
Anurag had then ruefully commented, "He (Aamir) is a very busy man and I have waited long enough. I don't even know if he wants to do the film."
Confirming his involvement in Talaash, Anurag told HT .
"Actually, Farhan has written most of the dialogues. But later, they asked me to work on some extra parts when he got busy with Don 2 (2011) and other stuff," says the filmmaker.
Anurag shares a good relationship with Kagti and Zoya Ajhtar. He had written dialogs for Reema's debut, Honeymoon Travels Pvt Ltd (2007) and had done a cameo in Zoya's Lucky By Chance (2009).
