Andy Griffith died from a Heart Attack

Griffith, 86, suffered an apparent heart attack early Tuesday morning. Andy’s death certificate states that Griffith had been dealing with coronary artery disease, hypertension and hyperlipidemia, a condition related to high cholesterol, for years.
Andy was already laid to rest at his North Carolina farm, with a private ceremony by family and close friends.
Andy Griffith co-star and legendary Hollywood director, Ron Howard, tweeted condolences saying, “Andy Griffith His pursuit of excellence and the joy he took in creating served generations & shaped my life I’m forever grateful RIP Andy.”
