Community star, Rashida Jones, has issued an apology for some teasing comments she made about John Travolta.
Jones made the off-hand remark while promoting her new film, Celeste and Jesse Forever. The conversation turned to her thoughts on co-star Frank Ocean coming out and expressing his sexuality to the world. “There needs to be, like, a professional athlete that comes out,” Rashida said, “And a movie star! It’s time…Like John Travolta? Come out! Come on. How many masseurs have to come forward? Let’s do this.”
Today, Rashida has issued an apology va Twitter saying, “Made a thoughtless comment about John Travolta. I sincerely apologize. Nobody’s personal life is my business.”
