Katrina Kaif looked insanely gorgeous walking the ramp in a classic ivory bridal lehenga as showstopper for Manish Malhotra's fashion during the Delhi Couture Week 2012 on Saturday, August 11.
The 28-year-old Ek Tha Tiger star's three piece midriff baring ensemble was heavily embellished with tilla, zari and Swarovski. Splashes of bright coral-pink on the floor grazing voluminous lehenga border exuded retro charm.

The designer debuted his 20-piece couture collection with a fifties inspired vintage look.
Elaborating why he picked Katrina as his show stopper, Malhotra who has styled Katrina in Yash Chopra's next, said:
"For me the bride is beautiful, contemporary. Someone who's very sure and likes the old world charm of Indian clothes and carries it up in a modern age. I think that's what Katrina represents. She is beautiful, she looks great in Indian clothes and she's a modern girl," Manish explained [Via HT].
Katrina was asked after the show if she would be seen wearing something similar for her own wedding, she said:

"I have no idea. As the time changes, you like different things. There was a time when I was very fond of green. This is a muted color. So you have to take it in relation with when the time comes. I don't know when that time will come."
"I wouldn't be wearing this because it's very heavy. The work on this is very heavy. It has taken many months. It weighs about 10 kilos. But I love Indian clothes. I love the elegance of it."
As for her own marriage plans:
"I don't know, what you think. I think marriage is something very personal. It's a personal equation. I think it happens at the right time. Everyone has their own dreams and expectations. It's one of the few things in life that you cannot predict. It happens when it happens," said Katrina.
