Alluding to numerous press reports about Katie Holmes' out of court divorce settlement with Tom Cruise, her lawyer has cautioned people to be wary of what is being reported in the press.
"There are numerous inaccuracies in the reports regarding the purported contents of the agreement reached between the parties," says attorney Jonathan Wolfe. "The agreement is confidential and its terms will not be disclosed."
Earlier, People magazine quoting a source reported that Tom has agreed to let Katie have primary custody of their 6-year-old daughter Suri Cruise.
Katie and Suri will reside in New York where Katie recently bought an apartment.
Cruise will enjoy generous visitation rights.
A source told People, "They both love their daughter and Tom thinks she should be with her mother."
Tom "didn't want his family dragged through the mud," the source added. "Neither one of them wanted this to be hashed out in public."
According to TMZ, a report that Tom's visitations with Suri will take place in the presence of Katie's bodyguard and nanny is "absolutely, 100% false."
Sources tell TMZ that the agreement covers custodial rights a great length and spans many years. One of the standout provisions is that neither parent can discuss religion, including Scientology, with Suri during her formative years.
