Sonakshi Sinha's Rajjo character is married to Salman Khan's cop character, Chulbul Pandey in Dabangg 2, but fans will get to see a lot of romance between the two in the sequel.
Dabangg 2 will take the story in Dabangg forward. Despite Rajjo and Chulbul's marriage, debutant director Arbaaz Khan wants to keep the chemistry between the two alive.
"Sona's character has gone through a big transformation; she's married after all. And their marriage is very romantic. Since Chulbul and Rajjo are in a new space enough scenarios have been created to establish their chemistry," Arbaaz told Deccan Herald.
A source close to the film says the sequel does not have any scope for Salman to be seen courting Sonakshi as in the first film but "the audience would still expect some mischief from Chulbul Pandey. So he gets romantic in his own way."
"Sona's character Rajjo is far from a stereotypical housewife. There is enough spunk in her character," adds the source.
Salman and Sonakshi are currently shooting for the film at Mehboob Studios in Mumbai.
