Multiple sources have now confirmed that the relationship between Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber came to a breaking point recently, as was reported by TMZ on Monday.
A source has confirmed to JustJared.com that the teenagers are "still together."
"They had a pretty big fight but made it through," the source explained.
The fight apparently took place during Ashley Tisdale's birthday bash last week.
A source tells People that Selena "was crying about Justin and was upset" during the bash.
Thursday night, July 5, Justin and Selena were spotted hand in hand on a dinner date at the Pink Pepper restaurant in Hollywood. Quizzed by a photog on the status of their relationship, Justin responded, "What does it look like?"
Earlier on Thursday, TMZ reported that Bieber, 18, and Selena, 19, have split and made up several times over the past few months, with the most recent break-up occurring just last week.
They are back together once again, but the on-again, off-again cycles have taken a toll and dimmed the intensity of their relationship. They are trying to figure things out and are not "solid."
In August 2011, the Sun reported that Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber had split after rowing over the Canadian heart throb's friendship with Sean Kingston.
The couple belied the report by sitting side by side at the Teen Choice Awards that weekend and posing for the cameras.
