Kristen claimed her fling with Rupert was a “momentary indiscretion,” but was she lying? With reports surfacing that the pair had been doing the sideways samba for more than six months before being found out by a nosey reporter, Rob is reportedly curious to know details of his girlfriend’s romance with her Snow White and the Huntsman director.
Devastated Robert moved out of the Los Angeles home he once shared with Kristen on Thursday after photos were released revealing that the 22-year-old actress had an affair with the married moviemaker, 41. RPatz was reportedly mere weeks away from proposing to Kristen. Now the exes are no longer on speaking terms and a UHaul truck was spotted at their residence on Saturday.
A source close to Robert told RadarOnline:
“Rob wants to have a man to man chat with Rupert to find out exactly what happened between him and Kristen. Kristen has already betrayed his trust by cheating, so he can’t be sure that she will tell him exactly what went on between her and Rupert. Rupert has a wife and a family to save, so Rob feels like he has nothing left to lose and would be honest with him.”Robert feels doubly betrayed, pals say. He trusted Rupert as the director of Kristen’s film and had no idea the two were getting so close while he wasn’t around.
“Rob really was blindsided by this and he’s going through the typical stages of being cheated on. He was hurt and heartbroken, then angry and pissed off and now he just wants answers. He’s not ready to talk with Kristen, it’s too painful, so he’s going to Rupert.”Robert and Kristen will soon have to find a way to mend fences: They are scheduled to appear at the MTV Video Music Awards September 6. And the once adoring couple is contractually obliged to be photographed side by side on the red carpet at the premiere of their final Twilight movie together — The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 — opening in November.
