Harry Potter star carries the Olympic Torch through London

Former Harry Potter star, Rupert Grint, showed his patriotism by participating in the per-ceremonies for the London Games, set to begin tomorrow. Grint, 23, told the BBC, “I don’t usually run for anything, but it was all downhill so I was OK,” he said. “It was all a bit of a blur. I’m just so proud to be a part of it.”
Grint is one of 8,000 people have taken part in the 70-day, 8,000-mile Olympic torch relay. The torch has crossed the length of the U.K. and even ventured into Ireland.
Friday evening the torch will make is final stop, when it lights the Olympic calderon and spans the length of the games.
