The flamboyant singer is reportedly in talks with show bosses, who see the former runner-up as the perfect addition to the aging singing competition, E! News reports. After all, he has a large fanbase and would understand the challenges facing contestants.
One snitch squeals:
“He personifies the show and will be a popular choice right from the start. He knows what it’s like to be on the receiving end of the judges’ comments, he has a human touch and they know they can’t go wrong if they bring him on. Despite the question marks hanging over Jennifer’s future on Idol, insiders suggest Adam is not being eyed as her replacement.
