Pattinson escaped to his 'Water for Elephants' co-star's ranch to figure things out, after moving out on Thursday from of the Los Angeles home that he shared with Stewart. [via Radar Online]
Meanwhile, Pattinson's rep has confirmed that the actor will be attending a scheduled promotional event for his upcoming film Cosmopolis .
"No confirmed engagements have been canceled," the rep said. "Any reports to the contrary are inaccurate."
ET Online earlier reported that Pattinson had backed out of the commitment to promote the film because he "isn't quite ready to face the media in the wake of girlfriend Kristen Stewart's cheating scandal."
According to a Us Weekly source, Stewart, 22, who publicly apologized to Pattinson for her fleeting indiscretion on July 17 with her Snow White and the Huntsman director, Rupert Sanders, has been incessantly texting and calling Robert, because she is "dying to save the relationship."
"It's the only thing she cares about," says the source.
Stewart has received some welcome support in her hour of need from 49-year-old actor Jodie Foster, according to Radar Online .
Stewart and Foster co-starred in the Panic Room (2002) and have been friends since; Stewart looks up to Foster as a mother-like figure.
Jodie reportedly doesn't condone Kristen's cheating but told her young friend, "to take no notice of the media bashing and said if she wanted to cry her heart out to her she's always available."
