Wedding bells are ringing for the notoriously unlucky in love Jennifer Aniston. After ill-fated romanced with everyone from John Mayer to Vince Vaughn, the proverbial Girl Next Door has accepted a proposal from actor/screenwriter Justin Theroux.

You heard right: The international she-ro for successful career gals destined to become bearded cat ladies in their later years has finally managed to land herself a man.

So take that, Brangelina!

Jennifer, 41, and Justin, 43, have been an item since May 2011. People magazine broke the wedding news Sunday evening, via a press release from Justin’s rep:

“Justin Theroux had an amazing birthday on Friday, receiving an extraordinary gift when his girlfriend, Jennifer Aniston, accepted his proposal of marriage.”

The news comes on the same weekend that media excitement grew about a possible wedding between Angelina Jolie and Aniston’s ex, Brad Pitt.
