Deepika Padukone is headed for motorbike lessons, courtesy the new bike brand she has recently signed up for.
The 26-year-old, as the new face of Yamaha scooty for women, is starting out by learning to ride the brand's meaner machines before her shoot for the meek scooty. Yamaha has hired special trainers for Deepika.
"Although Deepika is the face of the company's new scooterette collection, she will go for bike lessons. She wants to master the skill of riding a difficult vehicle first so that a scooter will automatically become easier for her to handle," an insider told HT.
Deepika's PR confirm the news:
"She is working out her schedule to see if she can take out a few days for the lessons. She doesn't want to come across as a novice in the commercial."
Of course if Deepika needs any pointers, she can always go to John Abraham as bikes have always been a hobby for the guy. He also fronts Yamha motorbikes.
