Anne Hathaway Glimmering in Gucci at London Premiere of 'The Dark Knight Rises'

Anne Hathaway worked every ounce of her Hollywood glamor dressed in Gucci at the London premiere of her latest film "The Dark Knight Rises" July 18, 2012.
The venue was Odeon Leicester Square, and the 29-year-old graced the red carpet with her usual finesse even though she just did the NY premiere a few hours back with an after party following it. Prince Harry, along with her costars Christian Bale; Marion Cotillard and the rest of the cast were there in their best threads, but Hathaway stole the show.
She opted for a long, golden halter gown from the Italian designer's Resort 2013 collection which had a high floral neckline and keyhole back feature. Anne paired it up with basic jewelry from Tiffany and gold satin pumps by Casadei which gave subtle compliment to her dress.
Her makeup was fairly simple, heavy black pencil around the eyes, light blusher and a matte pink lip color. They all highlighted her classic beauty without going overboard, and let the Gucci take center stage.
The Gucci gown was not only unusual in its high neck, but also its incredibly loose silhouette. The high neck surrounded by flowers makes it a standout, but also a dress difficult to carry off unless the woman wearing it is fairly young. As for the less-than-tight fit, it gives the creation a laidback feel while the light-catching fabric retains enough formality for a film premiere.
Not only did the sleeveless style flaunt her toned pair of arms, but the neck drew attention to her Les Mis cropped haircut in a very low key manner.
The actress stopped to cheerfully sign autographs when walking the London carpet, and if she was tired from her transatlantic flight she never showed it! Tres belle, Fantine.
