Shapewear used to be Hollywood’s best kept secret — until now! From the red carpet to the stage, gorgeous gals including Kim Kardashian, Selena Gomez, Katy Perry, Jennifer Lopez and Blake Lively, to name a few, have fallen victim to the latest wardrobe malfunction — peek-a-boo SPANX! So far we’ve spotted the shapewear of the stars peeking out under super short hemlines, like they most recently did on Kim — but that’s not the only place they’ve turned up! When Blake worked a seriously sexy Chanel dress with a sheer panel around her stomach the waistline of her SPANX was clearly visible.
Actresses and reality stars aren’t the only ones who have fallen victim to the latest epidemic — singers seem to be just as susceptible! While Selena and Beyonce showed off their little shorts on stage, Rihanna took it one step further and boldly wore short shorts over her long SPANX on her video shoot.
Sure, it’s a little embarrassing when the shapewear that isn’t meant to be seen by anyone is totally visible, but it’s way better than flashing your privates. Rather than feeling totally mortified, these stars should commend themselves for wearing the appropriate undergarments and looking so chic in their get-ups!
